The MotivatEM stethoscope holder is a device that allows healthcare workers to carry their stethoscopes at their waists. Developed in collaboration with a doctor, our goal was to create a lightweight product that would help alleviate neck strain and streamline patient care. While a simple device, it was quite an ergonomic challenge to fit a wide variety of stethoscope brands into one product and took dozens of prototypes and a great deal of user testing. MotivateEM won a NYDesign Award and a Good Design Award in 2024.
